Information we collect
When you buy, reserve, request an inspection or ask us to purchase your sofa, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, suburb or delivery address, preferred date and time, sofa descriptions and condition details, uploaded sofa photos, and payment, reservation or submission references.
How we use it
We use this information to process payments, assess sofas offered for sale, manage sofa availability, arrange inspections, collection and delivery, provide receipts and service messages, prevent fraud, keep business records and respond to enquiries.
Service providers
Payments are processed by Stripe. Customer receipts, payment links, appointment details and sofa submission confirmations are delivered by transactional email through Resend. Twilio is used only for private alerts to the business owner, not for automated customer SMS. Site records and uploaded sofa photos are hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare services. Google Analytics helps us understand website visits and improve the site. Meta Pixel helps us measure visits from Facebook and Instagram advertising. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services.
Advertising measurement
Meta Pixel may record page visits, device and browser information, approximate location, referral information and advertising interactions. We use this information to measure whether Facebook and Instagram ads lead people to the website and to improve advertising performance. We do not intentionally send names, phone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses or payment details to Meta Pixel.
Website analytics
Google Analytics may collect information about pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, referral source and interactions such as scrolling or outbound-link clicks. We have disabled Google signals and advertising-personalisation signals. We use these reports to understand which pages are useful, improve the website and measure enquiries and sales. We do not intentionally send names, phone numbers, email addresses, delivery addresses or payment details to Google Analytics.
Storage and protection
We restrict access to customer records and keep them only for as long as reasonably required for orders, support, legal obligations, security and accounting. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use access controls and secure service providers to reduce risk.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, accounting, payment or dispute purposes.
