Pre-owned sofas
Every sofa is pre-owned and unique. We provide photographs and condition details to help you decide. Normal signs of prior use may be present. Please ask questions or book an inspection before paying if any detail is important to your purchase.
Reservations and deposits
A $50 deposit reserves the selected sofa for 24 hours after confirmed payment and is credited toward the sofa price if the purchase is completed. If you change your mind or do not complete the purchase within the hold period, the deposit may be retained to cover the reservation and resulting loss, except where Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise or we cannot supply the sofa.
Inspections
An inspection request does not reserve a sofa. Availability can change until a deposit or full payment is confirmed. The private showroom location is provided by transactional email after the inspection request is saved. Customers should check both their inbox and spam or junk folder. Requested times remain subject to confirmation or adjustment.
Payments
Online payments are processed securely by Stripe in Australian dollars. We do not store full card details. Customers who select cash payment receive a 10% discount on the advertised sofa price only; the discount does not apply to delivery charges. A $50 online deposit is required to hold a sofa for the cash option and is credited against the discounted cash price. The remaining cash balance is recorded when received.
A sofa is not sold or reserved until the required payment is confirmed. Deposit receipts, purchase receipts and applicable remaining-balance payment links are sent to the customer's email address. Customers should check both their inbox and spam or junk folder. Pricing errors or duplicate transactions will be reviewed and corrected.
Delivery
Delivery is free within the stated 50 km zone from Hoppers Crossing. Any fee outside that zone is confirmed separately before delivery. Requested dates and times are preferences and remain subject to confirmation, access conditions and safe handling requirements.
Selling a sofa to us
Submitting sofa details or photos is free and does not guarantee an offer. The advertised $50–$300 range is indicative only. Any offer depends on condition, cleanliness, size, location, collection access and resale suitability. We may decline any sofa. Collection within 24 hours is an aim after an offer is accepted and remains subject to scheduling and safe access. The agreed payment is made when we collect the sofa.
Consumer rights
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Change-of-mind returns are not automatically available, but this does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, unsafe, materially different from their description or otherwise fail a consumer guarantee.
